Mustang Swim & Dive Open Season With Strong Performances Across Three Meets

The Mustang Swim & Dive teams dove into their opening week of competition after weeks of focused training dating back to late October. With three meets in five days—including a dual meet on the road, a home tri-meet, and a large-scale invitational—the Mustangs wasted no time proving they’re ready for a competitive season.

The week began on Tuesday as Strongsville traveled to Medina to take on both Medina and Brunswick. The teams returned home Friday for their first home meet against Mentor and Euclid, then wrapped up the stretch Saturday at the Oberlin Invitational.

By the end of the week, the Girls team finished 2-2 (2-2 GCC), while the Boys team went undefeated at 4-0 (4-0 GCC).
